perspective. Toyota designed the MR2 suspension to react more like a race car, but was too much for the average driver. I'll have to dig around, but there was a famous race driver who said the earlier MR2 suspension was much better suited for racing. Problem was, it gave the car a bad image as magazine editors and normal drivers weren't able to drive the car at it's limits safely. Most people who actually race the MR2 prefer that earlier design to the "safer" 93-95 model.
